5 Must-Haves for a Wholesale Line Sheet – Artists & Makers (that shop owners will love!)




If you're a creative looking to sell your products to stores, a wholesale line sheet is your secret weapon. Think of it as your brand's professional sales brochure: clear, visually appealing, and filled with the exact info a shop owner needs to say, "Yes, I’ll take 20!"

Here are the five must-haves every artist, maker, and product-based business should include in their wholesale line sheet:


1. Your Branding & Contact Info

Your line sheet should immediately show who you are. Include your logo, business name, website, email, and social media handles. You want to make it effortless for a buyer to reach you or check out more of your work.


2. High-Quality Product Photos

Photos are everything. Use clean, well-lit images that show your product from at least one front-facing angle. Group similar products together and keep the layout clean and consistent. Bonus points if you add lifestyle mockups to a separate page.


3. Clear Product Details

For each item, be sure to include:

  • Product name or SKU

  • Wholesale price

  • Suggested retail price (MSRP)

  • Minimum order quantity

  • Product dimensions, materials, or variants (if applicable)

  • Lead time or production turnaround


4. Order & Payment Info

Let buyers know how to place an order. Should they email you? Fill out a form? Visit your Faire shop? Also, include payment methods you accept (PayPal, credit card, Net 30, etc.) and any important terms.


5. Your Wholesale Policies

Avoid confusion and back-and-forth emails by including your policies upfront.

Things like:

  • Minimum opening order and reorder

  • Turnaround time

  • Shipping methods and fees

  • Return/damage policy

  • Customization or name-drop options

Keep it short, sweet, and skimmable. Shop owners are busy — a clean, well-organized line sheet makes you look polished and professional.
